Who is carrying it.
You are handing a stranger something that cannot be replaced. It is fair to ask who that is.
Trust isn’t just our promise. It’s the foundation of everything we do.
Joseph Henry, founder
Founded by Joseph Henry, Founder & CEO, Bridgeway Medical Logistics was built to solve a critical challenge in healthcare: ensuring essential medical materials get where they need to be securely, efficiently, and on time.
We understand that in healthcare, transportation is more than simply moving a package from one location to another. Delays, unreliable service, and poor communication can disrupt operations, inconvenience healthcare professionals, and ultimately impact the quality of patient care. That’s why Bridgeway Medical Logistics provides dependable, time-sensitive courier solutions designed to remove those uncertainties and give our partners confidence in every delivery.
Our trained professionals specialize in the secure transportation of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, laboratory materials, medical supplies, documents, and other critical healthcare deliveries while maintaining rigorous standards for safety, confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance.
Bridgeway exists because medical freight is not parcel freight. A general courier optimises for stops per hour, which is the right way to move packages and the wrong way to move a specimen with a stability window. Consolidating a cooler onto a multi-stop van adds hours, hand-offs, and an unrecorded gap in the custody trail.
So the model is narrow on purpose. One courier owns a run start to finish. Nothing rides with unrelated freight. The manifest closes with a signature and a timestamp, and you can have a copy the same day. Whether supporting scheduled routes, recurring deliveries, or urgent transportation needs, our commitment remains the same: precision, accountability, and reliability at every step.
At Bridgeway Medical Logistics, we don’t simply deliver packages. We help keep healthcare moving.
How a run is documented
The same four points on every job, whether it is a STAT run or a Tuesday route.
Pickup
Timestamped at the collection point. The container is sealed and the seal number is written to the manifest before the vehicle moves.
Transit
One courier, start to finish. No hand-offs, no shared load, no warehouse stop where a cooler waits for a second van.
Delivery
Signature captured at the receiving department and timestamped against the pickup, so elapsed time is on the record rather than estimated later.
Record
The closed manifest is retained and sent to you on request, same day. If an inspector asks what happened to a specimen, there is an answer.
Driver standards
What every courier clears before they carry anything, and what stays on file for your vendor packet.
Background check and driving record
Run before a courier is assigned a first pickup, not after. Motor vehicle records are reviewed for moving violations and licence status, then re-checked annually.
HIPAA training, certificate on file
What may be discussed, what may not be photographed, and how a document case is handled when a vehicle is left unattended. Repeated annually, certificates available to your compliance file.
Bloodborne pathogen and spill handling
Containment and reporting for a leaking or damaged container: what gets sealed, who gets called, and in what order.
Cold-chain handling
The correct container for each temperature range, how long a validated cooler actually holds under real conditions, and what to do when a reading drifts out of range mid-run.
Employees, not subcontractors
No gig platform drivers and no brokered runs. The person who arrives at your facility works for Bridgeway and has cleared everything above.
Insurance certificate issued to you
Commercial auto, general liability and cargo coverage. We name your facility on the certificate and send a renewal copy before it lapses, without being asked.
Ask the hard questions on the phone.
Insurance limits, training records, how a missed pickup gets handled. Call and ask. If the answers work for your compliance file, we can talk about a route.
